While a certain amount of stress can help make us stronger, stress that gradually builds up over time can have a powerful damaging effect on many areas of health. Stress can come from many sources, some of which can be surprising! The effect of this “accumulated stress” can be behind a wide variety of health problems, some of which can be life threatening.
